The company was founded by a practicing neurosurgeon, a general practitioner and an entrepreneur. The overriding goal of the company is to bring to commercial use the company’s patented inventions, the SutureAid family of suturing tools. Engineering the art of surgery. These words reflect the founders ambition to improve the quality of surgery by making products that consider both the science and the art of surgery.

SutureAid B.V. is financially supported by Value8, a listed Dutch company, and PPM Oost, a Dutch Regional Investment group.
