Our Forceps

SutureAid has improved the design of current forceps to optimize tissue and needle handling in suturing. The AT line of forceps consists of high quality toothless titanium forceps of various lengths with round or flat handles. Each forceps is fitted with a disposable ‘cushion’ at the end of the forceps. This cushion lets the surgeon capture and manipulate the suture needle more easily, providing this and many other benefits (see Advanced Techniques). The SutureAid AT is best used with suture needles from approximately 9mm to 16mm, but larger needles can be used in some procedures.

Products

SutureAid AT (Atraumatic) titanium forceps are supplied with a knurled round handle and are available in various lengths to suit your preference (15, 20, and 24 cm). Cushions come in one size and fit all forceps.
